[PLEASE READ] Map Download Section - A introduction

This new Section will introduce, instead of a general Download Section, AW2.x Maps that have been released recently and are not part of the AW2 Mod Stockmaps.

You can either send me your Maps via Email (maps_AT_awmod.com) or send me a PM with a Download Link from somewhere else of your Map.

In case you send the Map to me via Email, you need to add the following Information.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE NEED DO KNOW ABOUT YOUR MAP ?

• Map Name
• Screenshot (s) ( 1 or more Screenshots of the Map in .JPG and name it kinda like your Map not using characters like # !)
• Map Description
• Map Author Name
• Supported Gametypes
• Difficult Level (EASY, MEDIUM, HARD)

Incomplete Maps, Maps without the above necessary Information will not be posted !

WHAT TO USE BEST FOR COMPRESSING YOUR MAPS ?

Often there are conflicts with using different Compression Tools, because some Softwares just make the compression different and then others, even though they can also for example do .ZIP , cannot uncompress them or properly.

I recommend using 7zip which is a free Software which is definately the best non-retail Compression Tool out there.

One thing we would appreciate if you download Maps.

PLEASE DONT FORGET TO RATE THE MAP BY CLICKING ON "RATE THREAD" RIGHT ABOVE THE POSTING !

UPDATE - AUGUST 2010

Maps submitted from now on will be tested among a little group (Q & A) first to make sure its running without issues on Ded. & Local servers and not causing problems.

After that the map will be put in the public downloads, not before.

Older maps can't be re-tested afterwards because that would take far too much time, doing that all afterwards, and besides, older maps are already in circulation and it would be hard to bring out updated Versions when the old ones are still out there.

UPDATE 2 - AUGUST 2010

Like mentioned in the first thread, from now on also add a difficulty Level description of your Map before you submit them to us.

For example, if its a hard map and needs 5+ players to be able to finish it in a reasonable time, you could add the description MEDIUM to your email when you submit that to us.
